EBI’s Scope:
In this Project Spotlight, we take a look at an isolated phase bus (IPB) duct system EBI discovered was suffering from poor system design and lack of proper, routine maintenance; leading to deterioration due to water and condensation buildup. EBI’s team performed the necessary inspection, cryogenic cleaning, and installation of an EBI supplied after-market dry air pressurization system; bringing the client’s IPB back to like new condition. EBI’s Fleet Wide System Enhancements coupled with a routine preventive maintenance plan, have proven to dramatically extend the life of existing bus systems and mitigate opportunities for a forced outage.
