Summary:

When this wind farm experienced a conductor failure inside one of their turbines 200’ in the air, they relied on EBI’s emergency response team for expedited fabrication and repair.

Scope of Work:

  • Removed damaged conductor bar for repair
  • Fabricated new conductor bar
  • Replaced damaged conductor end with adapter and welded in place
  • Re-installed offset piece of bus and applied heat shrink to terminations
