EBI is the first national service provider of high power conductor systems to become ISO 9001certified.

Electrical Builders, Inc. (EBI®) is proud to announce they have successfully achieved ISO 9001 certification.  EBI is the first specialty construction and maintenance service provider in the power utility industry to have completed ISO 9001 certification. This significant business achievement demonstrates EBI’s commitment to continual improvement and customer satisfaction by building and maintaining a superior quality management and communication system.

ISO (International Standards Organization) is the world’s largest developer and publisher of international quality standards. ISO 9001 certification requires EBI to demonstrate an established and successful quality management system while exhibiting continuous improvement throughout their organization.  According to QAS International, one of the world’s leading registrars, ISO 9001 certification is awarded to companies who “say what they do, do what they say, and are willing and able to prove it.”

“Achieving ISO 9001 quality assurance certification is a tremendous feat for EBI.  We are very proud of our entire team for this success,” said Jessica Ducharme, VP Sales & Marketing. “In the dynamic and highly regulated power utility industry, every client has unique policies and procedures, but the need for high quality, timely and reliable service is consistent throughout the industry. ISO 9001 certification proves that no matter what challenge is presented, EBI can guarantee to deliver a successful, consistent and top quality solution to the client.  By developing and following processes and procedures that have been formally implemented throughout our organization, we are able to ensure consistent quality service knowledge transfer as our organization continues to grow.”

President & CEO, Constance Netter, described EBI’s path to becoming ISO 9001 certified, “Over the last 38 years EBI has changed significantly. We have grown to become the premier contractor of high power conductor systems by staying ahead of our competition in safety, quality, customer satisfaction, process improvement, communication and innovation. EBI’s ownership has always understood customer satisfaction is number one. This is what led to pursuing ISO 9001 certification and having the best quality management system possible.”

“ISO 9001certification is not a short term program,” said Brian Warzecha, Safety Coordinator & Procurement Specialist. “It requires continuous improvement of safety practices, business processes, and customer satisfaction. ISO certification is a tool that will allow us to continually monitor our business system which will result in continuous enhancements from the office to the field.”
