Additionally, we handled the IPBD refurbishment and modification of a second unit.

Scope

  • IPB refurbishment and modification of support steel.
  • Isolated phase bus and IPB cooling duct demolition.
  • Demolition of IPB connections to existing three generator set-up (GSU) transformers.
  • Isolated phase bus duct removal for the installation of a new generator breaker and its support structures.
  • Installation of doghouses on the new GSU transformers.
  • Installation of all cooler, IPB and connections/supports.
  • Installed Delta Unibus isolated phase bus duct system.
  • Demolition and replacement of 16 expansion joints throughout the entire IPB system.
  • Completion of all work to the neutral tie upgrades.
