EBI Earns Key Supplier Award From Bechtel Corporation

By May 22, 2012 January 4th, 2016 Awards

Electrical Builders, Inc. (EBI®) is the proud recipient of a Bechtel Power 2011 Key Supplier Award for Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) and Non-Seg Construction Services. The purpose of the Key Supplier Award is to acknowledge the important role high quality suppliers play in the successful completion of Bechtel’s power projects throughout the year. Attributes considered when choosing the key supplier included attention to safety, quality of work done, and problem solving skills.
EBI founder and VP of Construction, Eric F. Netter, accepted the award on behalf of EBI and said, “With the support of my wife Connie, I founded EBI under the principals of hard work, honesty and ingenuity with one goal in mind: to provide for our growing family of six. Thirty-nine years later, I am very proud of the company EBI has evolved into. We are still a family owned, as we have many family members involved in the business, but every member of the EBI team adds value and is considered part of our extended family.”

Netter continued, “The relationship we have built with Bechtel did not happen overnight, nor was it built by one person. Rather, it is thanks to joint efforts made by both Bechtel and EBI to lay the proper foundation to establish mutual respect and appreciation for each other’s area of expertise. I am honored to accept this award and greatly appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate our high quality services to the Bechtel team.”
Bechtel Power is part of Bechtel, a global engineering, project management, and construction company that operates through five global business units that specialize in civil infrastructure; power generation, communication and transmission; mining and metals; oil, gas and chemicals; and government services.
