EBI Earns Key Contractor Award From Bechtel Two Years In A Row

Electrical Builders, Inc. (EBI®) is the proud recipient of a Bechtel Power 2012 Key Contractor Award once again for Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) and Non-Seg Bus systems Construction Services.  The purpose of the Key Contractor Award is to acknowledge the important role high quality contractors play in the successful completion of Bechtel’s power projects throughout the year. Attributes considered when choosing a key contractor include attention to safety, quality of work done, and problem solving skills.

EBI President and CEO, Constance I. Netter, said, “Electrical Builders is very proud to accept this prestigious award from Bechtel for the second year in a row.” 

Netter continued, “We value our relationship with Bechtel greatly and continue to be impressed by their management and project planning as well as their interest in working with us to identify opportunities for continuous improvement within both organizations.”

EBI was one of 62 suppliers/contractors chosen from the more than 4,000 companies Bechtel contracted with in 2012. Speakers at the dinner included President of Bechtel, Alasdair Carthcart, along with Vice President and Manager of Procurement, Mark Zeiger.

Bechtel Power is part of Bechtel, a leader in global engineering, project management, and construction company that operates through five global business units that specialize in civil infrastructure; power generation, communication and transmission; mining and metals; oil, gas and chemicals; and government services. Power projects EBI completed with Bechtel Power during 2012 included the St. Lucie IPBD upgrade and the Russell City Energy Center IPBD welding project.
