• Project Title: Victory Wind Farm Company Name: Mid American Energy City: Caroll State: IA At Victory Wind Project EBI wired 66ea 1.5 MW GE wind generators setting on 80 meter towers. These systems implemented the use of an aluminum bus down tower system versus cables. EBI also installed all the 35kv collection system splices, terminations, crossbondings, GSU transformers, Junction Boxes, along with all fiber optic splicing, terminations and testing.

• Project Title: Freeport Energy Center Company Name: DOW Chemical Texas Operations City: Freeport State: TX EBI installed approximately 57 tons of support structures, 3200 feet of Delta Iso Phase Bus consisting of 3 Generator Breakers, 1 Combustion Turbine, 2 Steam Turbines, VT and CT Cabinets and IPB connections to related Transformer.

General Contractor; Dahlen, Berg and Co. Sub-contractor; Electrical Builders Inc (EBI). EBI constructed the Faribault Energy Project 115KV substation including the tie into the generation step-up transformer. EBI also furnished and installed the Delta Unibus and ABB Generator Breaker final connection to the G. E. generator.

• Project Title: West Substation Company Name: Detroit Lakes Public Utilities City: Detroit Lakes State: Minnesota New 115kv electric substation, including concrete foundations, steel structures, bus work, conduit & duct work, control building, site work, fencing & related work. The project also included connecting an owner-furnished power transformer, 115kv control panels & 15kv switchgear; installing and connecting owner-furnished 115kv breakers & a 115kv circuit interrupter.

• Project Title: Spencer West & Shine Substations Company Name: Spencer Municipal Utilities City: Spencer State: Iowa New 69kv electric substation, including moving & installing steel structures, bus work, & a transformer from the existing SMU West Substation to the Shine Substation location. At the West Substation, the project includes installing an owner-furnished power transformer, steel structures & 69kv circuit interrupter. Also included at each site is ground grid installation, power cable installation, 69kv bus work and control cable.

• Project Title: Moorhead Southeast Substation Company Name: Moorhead Public Utility City: Moorhead State: Minnesota Modifications to the Southeast Substation includes, removing circuit switcher LS18, remove only the existing foundations that are in the way of the new foundations, install new 115kv breakers and associated switches, CVT’s and new line termination dead-end structure, test & commission new line relays and breaker control schemes, perform transmission line construction work that includes installing transmission pole, guying, and line to dead-end structure.

• Project Title: Le Sueur #2 Boright Substation Company Name: City of Le Sueur City: Le Sueur State: Minnesota Install new 69kv substation.

• Project Title: Turnkey Design Build 35kv Collection System Complete Company Name: Wind Farm City: Spirit Lake State: Iowa In 2003 Electrical Builders, Inc. completed a turnkey design build 35kv collection system complete with fiber optic system for the 45 mw Flying Cloud Wind Farm near Spirit Lake, IA. This project consisted of 29 towers each 80 meters tall. These 1.5mw wind turbine generators were also wired by EBI crews from the Nacelle down to the generator step up transformer, which was also provided and installed by EBI and connected to the collection system grid.
