Electrical Builders, Inc. (EBI®) has taken their involvement with the American Nuclear Society (ANS) to a new level. Jessica Netter Ducharme, EBI VP of Sales & Marketing, has been appointed to the Public Information Committee for the ANS. Her three year term will begin June 20, 2013.
“I am honored to be appointed to this Committee and to serve the needs of the American Nuclear Society,” stated Ms. Netter Ducharme. “Involvement with this Committee provides a great opportunity to communicate and promote the importance of nuclear power now and into the future.”
The Public Information Committee takes up matters bearing on the efforts of the Society, its constituent units and individual members to raise the level of public understanding of nuclear science, engineering, technology and energy. The Committee makes recommendations to the officers and Board of Directors of the Society concerning public information policies and activities, prepares official Society statements for public release, and cooperates with agencies and associations in the nuclear public information area. Other members of this committee include industry executives from North America and around the world.
